Marcel Vroom (1956), designer. Marcel Vroom graduated from the Faculty of Industrial Design at the Delft University of Technology in 1981. He was partners with Concepts Designers in Amsterdam from 1983 to 1987 and in 1987 he became a co-founder of design agency Landmark in Rotterdam. Together with architect Victor Mani he was granted the Incentive Prize by the Amsterdamse Kunstraad (‘Art Council of Amsterdam’) in 1989. His design for an intelligent meter cupboard received the Kho Liang Ie prize in 1995. In 1997 he founded MVAVD, an agency for design and design research in Rotterdam.
