Frank Tjepkema (1970), designer. Frank Tjepkema graduated with honours from the Design Academy in Eindhoven in 1996. Just as with other contemporary students from Eindhoven, his graduation work was included in the collection of Droog Design. He started his design agency Tjep. for product and interior design in 2001. The design for the British Airways Executive Lounge at Heathrow was awarded a Dutch Design Award in 2004. Tjepkema aims to give his work a contemporary look by using new materials and production techniques. Tjepkema also makes jewellery and furniture in small numbers. In addition, he was a board member of the Premsela Foundation.
